COVID-19 Policy
NAM participants must follow English law and University of Warwick mandates while attending the conference. Currently, there are no English legal restrictions or university mandates on NAM participants; any changes will be posted on this website.
Regardless, we respectfully ask that participants who test positive for Covid-19 during NAM subsequently participate in the online portion of this hybrid conference and do not engage in face-to-face activities. Session chairs will be prepared to accommodate necessary changes in format, as will the dedicated ReAttendance hybrid conference platform. Please note that we will not be offering any refunds for those who test positive during the conference.
If you do test positive for Covid-19 at the conference, please report it using this form, which is anonymous. This information will be used to allow the LOC to inform participants of science sessions in which the infected person recently attended. Alternatively, you should feel free to email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Regarding preventative measures, we strongly encourage all attendees to take relevant precautions to keep themselves and others safe while at NAM 2022, although the LOC cannot and will not police vaccination status, social distancing, and mask wearing. We remind participants that some people have hidden disabilities, medical conditions and complex extenuating circumstances; harassment will not be tolerated, according to the Code of Conduct. The LOC can help ensure that hand sanitizer is readily available and rooms are as ventilated as possible. If you encounter any issues with a lack of hand sanitizer or closed windows, then please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Because of the hybrid nature of the meeting, if you are not comfortable attending a particular session in person, then the ReAttendance online option will be available.
