Registration information
Registration is now CLOSED.
There will be no opportunity for on-site registration at the conference venue.
NAM2022 is a hybrid conference, with both in-person and online attendance options. For logistical reasons, we have had to cap in-person attendance at 550 per day. We have reached this limit and in-person registration is SOLD OUT.
Anyone wishing to attend the conference is required to register before the appropriate closing date for registration:
- 23:59 BST (UTC+1) on Friday 3rd June 2022 for participants presenting their work as a talk or poster
- 23:59 BST (UTC+1) on Friday 24th June 2022 for general attendance
Please note: There will be no opportunity for on-site registration at the conference venue excepting special arrangements made for members of the press.
Attendees wishing to attend in person may opt to register for a full week (11th - 15th July) or may purchase an individual day pass. Attendees who have registered for an individual day pass will need to select the exact day of attendance during registration. We have reached the in-person capp, and in-person registration is SOLD OUT. Passes are required to be worn at all times during the conference and may be collected from the Welcome Desk on arrival.
For attendees who will only attend online, we offer registration for the full week.
Attendees who plan to attend some of the conference in person and some online should register for the appropriate in-person options ONLY, as all in-person registration includes full access to the online platform for the full week.
We prefer that attendees pay by card if at all possible. If you have to pay via purchase order or BACS, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before completing the registration form, and before 12:00 BST (UTC+1) on Monday 30th May.

Support
We hope that most career astronomers engaged at research and educational institutions in the UK and abroad would be able to attend at these rates. However, we recognize the existence of structural barriers for members of traditionally marginalized communities and for individuals facing financial hardship in securing the requisite funding, mentorship, and support that might enable them to attend meetings like this one.
We are offering a limited number of scholarships in the form of partial or full fee waivers for attendance at NAM2022. These are only available to postgraduate and undergraduate students. Please contact the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to ask for more information. The RAS also offer travel & subsistence funding for undergraduate and postgraduate students - see the RAS website for details.
For information about available support, please visit the Grants & Bursaries page.
Fee waivers of invited speakers
Fee waivers are available to plenary speakers only.
Speakers invited to present in parallel sessions should register for the conference and pay registration fees as normal.
