🌍 Website: https://www.baader-planetarium.com/

Founded in Munich in 1966, Baader Planetarium specialises in the supply, installation and support of high-end robotic telescopes and observatory domes and are the sole UK/European distributor of Planewave Instruments (telescopes & mounts) and 10Micron mounts.

We have, to date, produced and installed over 600 observatory domes and remote/robotic observatories from 2m to 8.5m diameter around the world for scientific astronomical, space situational awareness (SSA) and satellite laser communication applications under harsh environments from arctic climate to desert conditions.

Our customers are institutions, universities, observatories and companies around the world. Installations include the UK universities of Hertfordshire (Bayfordbury Observatory), Central Lancashire (Alston Observatory), Open University (COAST/PIRATE) and Kent (Beacon Observatory) as well as MPI, ESA, NASA (McDonald Observatory and GSFC) and recently at Mount Graham USA (housing the Large Binocular Telescope Solar Polarimeter), and many more.
