Guide for Lunch Session Organisers
Thank you for organising a lunch session at NAM2022. Without your contribution we wouldn’t have a conference, let alone one with such an exciting science programme.
We have put together this guide to provide some information about the practicalities of the lunch sessions.
Other guides are available for:
- Session organisers
- In-person attendees
- In-person speakers and poster presenters
- Online attendees
- Online speakers and poster presenters
Guides will be updated semi-regularly, so please check the date of last update to see if there have been any changes.
If you have any further questions, please check to see if they're answered elsewhere on the website. If not, the first point of contact is the LOC email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Last updated: 13th July with updated info about capacities and projector connections in each room.
Food
Lunch will be served at 13:00 in the Mead Gallery, or at other stations around the Arts Centre.
Delegates attending the lunch sessions are requested to collect their lunch first, and then make their way to the room for the lunch session.
Timing
Lunch sessions are timetabled to start at 13:30 and end at 14:30. There is nothing scheduled in the rooms either directly before or directly after the lunch sessions, so you can get setup prior to lunch being served, and then have time to pack away at the end without disrupting other sessions.
Spaces
Lunch sessions are taking place in either the Arts Centre Ensemble Room, or the Arts Centre Studio. Room allocation is available in the block schedule and on the lunch sessions page.
Attendance at the lunch sessions is limited by the size of the rooms available. The maximum capacities are 140 people for the Studio and 50 for the Ensemble Room, and the rooms are set up in classic theatre style (cabaret style reduced the capacities too much).
We remind lunch session organisers that ReAttendance are not providing hybrid support for these sessions.
Presentations
Lunch session presenters are able to use their own laptops. Please bring your own adaptors to connect to the projector.
The projector in the Ensemble Room has both VGA and HDMI connectors.
The project in the Studion has HDMI connection only.
